Hey there, stranger! There's something I want to share with you. Many people think that it's impossible to control your mood and that your mood depends on people surrounding you. Well, I can agree that people can change your mood, especially if they are super close to you. But trust me, you can control your mood just like you are able to move your hands and legs. If you are able to control the movement of your body, why would you not able to control your thoughts, your mood and mind. First of all you have to learn to clean your mind of the things that bring you down. Why would you feel bad for actions that are in the past...? Why would you feel bad about things that happen everyday almost to everyone. Don't be embarrassed, be proud of yourself that you've made a mistake once, take a note and never repeat something that will eventually make you feel bad. After all you'll get only experienced, not sad, moody or depressed. The universe is huge, we are like a grain of sand in the desert, why would we be afraid or something or sad about something? There's absolutely no reason. Most of the people will be like "oh my God, I'm having so much problems and I'm reading this stupid post". Well, it's not about your problems, it's more like your attitude about your problems. Everything will be alright, problems are temporary. Just let it go, the more you think about it, the worse it gets. Don't give importance to things that mean so little. Trust me if you are having problem and your attitude is like "wow, this hell will never end", it eventually ends and you are like " I didn't have to worry that much, everything went better than I expected". Change your attitude, do not overthink, nothing's gonna go wrong if you don't make it wrong. If you don't believe anything of the things above you can try being a little bit more positive than before. I used to be depressed all the time and give importance to problems and I regret my decisions. The truth is that I was like that for so long and I really feel like I've wasted my time and I feel dumb about it. I tried to think positive. It won't happen instantly. I did it step by step. I was either too positive or too depressed/sad. You have to find the balance. By balance I mean that you don't have to get stressed by everything. You'll have to smile more often and show some kindness to people you love, even to strangers, to that persons who serves you food at the restaurant, to random elders at the street - helping them cross the street. Believe me, by doing little simple things you will feel happier and that will lead you to your happiness and your positive "YOU". As you read it it might seem simple but it depends on the person you are. You might get more positive in a week, others will have to work ages to earn it. I still have these "periods" when I feel down but let me tell you something... stand up, face your problems, even if you feel down you have to get back and keep fighting, cause nothing can steal something that belong to you. Don't let anyone control your mood. Keep being positive and do good nothing and you will get them back in return for sure. Remember, if you quit right now, why did you start in the first place? Do you remember that you wanted to be happy? That you wanted to be positive? What happened to your new you? What happened to your old you? If you try to change and you succeed trust me you will see the difference between what you are now and what you used to be. According to the people that surround you, if they are negative and you don't want to lose them, help them improve as you did, help them to get positive and to smile more often as you do. If they don't want to change just make sure that they don't control your mood. Don't let the things they say bring you down and man... you'll get criticized so damn often, but so what? Others are humans just like you. Why would you care about their opinion if the things you do are making you happy. Nobody can steal your happiness if you don't let them. Be free, Free your mind of bad thoughts. Think positive. Nothing's impossible. Find your balance. Let your spirit guide you. Surround yourself with good people, that will support you, without pointing their fingers at you or talking behind your back. Once you feel a little bit more confident you will able to achieve great things in your life. Best moments are about to happen. Eventually they will if you are prepared for them. All you need for that "preparation" is smile that won't damn move from your face no matter what. Sometimes when a bad thing happen to me I CHOICE if I'm going to get sad or to keep my head up, face the facts, smile and keep moving on. Leave the bad things in the past so you can leave a spot for the good things. If I read that as me 5 years ago, I would have said that post is not for me, it's too positive and I cannot accomplish that. Well I see now that everything can change no matter who you are and with what are you dealing at the moment. Never stop fighting, never do that. Don't be quitter. Every great person was once a loser, you cannot skip this part. What's wrong with being loser? Does that make you bad person? So what if you are doing mistakes, we all do? Pull yourself together. If this post motivates you reread it over and over again if it's gonna be useful for you. I'm going to be extremely glad if this post helps even a single person. Maybe you don't know that making people better makes you ten times more happier than them, because you helped somehow. One day everything you will want to see is smiles on the faces of the best people for you. Help everyone, no matter if you hate them or you love them, at one point of your life you might need someone who was nobody in your life few years ago.
After everything said above, I want to apologize for my English. I tried to give sense to everything that I wrote. It's my second language so I hope you don't mind my mistakes, as I don't mind any of the mistakes that you let happen in your life, no matter if you consider them as unforgivable. Hope you enjoyed the text above! Cheer up buddy :) smile more often.
